  • Environment/Vibe

This Café stands out among the crowd of coffee shops in the Toul Tom Poung area by its design. It is a two-story building, where the first floor is air-conditioned, and the second floor is a patio. La Chronique is a Sangkum Reast Niyum theme cafe, which featured the 1960s design, the Cambodia post-independence, pre-war era.

As you enter the cafe, you can see pictures of some famous Cambodian celebrities in the 1960s. La Chronique is a warm, quiet and welcoming space, featuring black and white chequered tile floors, and uses a combination of modern and vintage furniture. The cafe is not so spacious, so it is not the best place for you if you want privacy or want to have some sensitive conservation with your friends, yet it is still a great cafe to hang out with your friends and have some Instagram-worthy photos. As for now, La Chronique Cafe and Bistro is expanding and we expect the cafe to be bigger and better. The cafe is just a little walk from the Toul Tom Poung Market (Russian Market).
