          If you are a nature-lover, I am sure that this place will solidly catch your heart. Located in Boeung Keng Kang I, Eleven One Kitchen is a house-like restaurant covered with a lot of greenery. This restaurant is famous for its relaxed and cozy ambiance. You can dine in the restaurant air-conditioned space or in the open-air courtyard.

Service

          Service of Eleven One Kitchen is as heart-warming as the restaurant’s ambiance. The staff is friendly and helpful. However, a minor inconvenience could occur as sometimes food does not come out all at once.

Special Dish

          You obviously can find the most authentic Khmer dishes in this kitchen. It also offers Western cuisine. What makes Eleven One Kitchen so special is that they even create a combination of local and western dishes such as Lok Lak Burger by using only fresh and locally grown produce. Amok, cordon bleu and chicken-cranberry salad are highly recommended. Furthermore, Eleven One Kitchen offers a weekly special that makes use of the produce in season.

          Situated near the National Museum, Aroma is a hidden gem that serves the best Lebanoness and Mediterranean cuisine in town. Mansour Choueri, who is the owner and also the chef of Aroma, is Lebanese, opened Aroma in 2016, which was the fourth restaurant of his in Phnom Penh,

Environment

          In the front of Aroma, you can see two tables on both sides of the doors as outdoor seating areas of this restaurant. The restaurant is modestly sized but the design is fairly impressive and warm. The casual design of this restaurant makes people who go in there feel homelike and comfortable.

Service

          As Aroma is a small restaurant, the staff there is really attentive and they can communicate in English well, which makes the ordering process easier for foreign customers. Even the owner himself is so personable.

Special Dish

          Due to the fact that the owner and chef of Aroma are Lebanese, Aroma serves authentic Mediterranean food and Lebanese at a reasonable price. The most iconic dish of Aroma is Tapas Lebanese. Mezzes and Fresh Pita are also strongly recommended for everyone to give it a try.

Bistrot Langka

Located at the far end of the alley of St. 51, you may have some difficulties to find the place, but their food will never disappoint you. Moreover, you should never fear that this place is quiet because most of the time Bistrot Langka is packed with a lot of customers, especially foreigners. This Bistrot has a casual but elegant atmosphere with fairly affordable fine French and Cambodian dining.  The menu of the restaurant is small but precious because every item is carefully selected and picked to be made well

Service

          You will receive a warm welcome from the owner and the staff on your first step into the restaurant. The chef would come around and talk to everyone. Moreover, the staff is friendly and can converse in English. .

Special Dish

Bistrot Langka specializes in the sous vide style of vacuum-packed cooking, which makes sure of tender meat and succulent fish. This restaurant is famous for its Tuna Takaki, Beef Filet and Duck Breast.  For dessert, ice-cream puff with chocolate sauce and chocolate lava cake are recommended.

Vegetarian food might not sound as delicious as steak and seafood, but believe me, after a visit to this vegetarian Phnom Penh Restaurants, your view toward vegetarian food will completely change. Vitking House is a well-known vegetarian restaurant that has been around for quite a long time. It offers Asian and vegetarian-friendly dishes and their food is obviously as good as its reputation.

Environment

          You can assume how good the food at Vitking House is by seeing a whole pack of motorbikes and cars in front of the restaurant. The restaurant is glass-fronted with plenty of flowers, ferns, and trees, which sets the tone and express peace and calmness of the restaurant. For the interior design, the restaurant used bamboo to separate some of the seating areas to provide some privacy for customers. A collection of colored plates can be found on a wall, which enhances the whole atmosphere to be even better.

Service

          Due to its tasty food and good value for money, Vitking House is always packed with people. Therefore, the busyness of the restaurant will unavoidably impact its service on some occasions, which can be a minor inconvenience. However, the Vitking House’s friendly staff still try their best to serve all customers in the best way possible, and their service is pretty good when it is not too crowded.

Special Dish

Every dish at Vitking House is made of vegetables, but it is really tasty for meat-eaters as well. Vitking House offers a wide range of creative meat mimicking dishes and an amazing range of mushrooms and tofu-based dishes. Steaming hot plate with noodles and vegetables at Vitking House is a must-try for every customer. Additionally, there is a variety of healthy drink options that you can choose from. I am confident that you can be fulfilled with yummy food at a very good price.

          For my personal preference, I would choose Cuts for a luxurious Phnom Penh Restaurants. Dining with a view of Phnom Penh is obviously a huge bonus. For my fine dining choice, I choose Hachi the Japenese restaurant. Their fresh sushi and beef Kobe are impressively good, plus you get to watch the Chef’s live cooking performance. Eleven One Kitchen is my favorite Khmer cuisine Phnom Penh Restaurants, because of their tasty food, innovative menu and their environmental concerns. Last but not least, my budget restaurant choice is Vitking House. I mean being a healthy vegetarian is not bad, plus the food is super affordable. However, that is just my opinion, the choice is up to you. So choose a restaurant based on your preferences and have fun!!

    Only 3 good restaurants on this list. Seems a paid advert and you just wanted to thrown in a few others to seem diverse. Khema Pasteur is the only restaurant worth recommending on this list and i doubt it would make my top 10 but certainly in the top 20. Eleven is an okay place but even on street 460 there are several restaurants far better. This is laughable.
